Best time to visit Cape Verde: climate, seasons, and activities month by month
Good news: there is no bad season in Cape Verde. Sitting off the coast of Senegal, the archipelago posts 24-30 °C all year round, sea temperatures between 22 and 27 °C, and remarkable sunshine. The only real trap is logistical: Christmas, carnival, and the European summer push flight prices up, book ahead.
Tip: the shoulder months (October-November and April-June) combine a pleasant sea, moderate wind, still-green landscapes and gentler prices. It's the best value-for-experience window of the year.
